This is, of course, a very open ended question. It depends on a number of factors, including how much money is being offered and who has put the bid on the table.
For example, if Arsenal bid £15m for Daniel Sturridge this summer, there’s no question – Liverpool would reject it. There’s no need to sell to close rivals.
The footballtips.com reports this week, though, have been that PSG are among the massive elite clubs looking at Sturridge, with a £50m price tag being mentioned.
Now you’re talking. Now you’re looking at something Liverpool could get on board with.
Of course, Sturridge is arguably Liverpool’s best player. He’s their number one striker, their main goal threat and somebody who improves the whole them when he’s involved.

Usually, you’d fight tooth and nail to keep someone like this wouldn’t you? Unless he was desperate to go – like Luis Suarez – you’d keep him at Anfield, right?
Well, Sturridge is a different situation. All of the compliments about him apply WHEN HE’S ON THE PITCH. Unfortunately, this isn’t nearly often enough.
The former Chelsea man has struggled with his fitness for the last couple of years and the stop-start nature to his campaign has been replicated by Liverpool’s up and down form.
Does Jurgen Klopp really want another season of this as he looks to really stamp his mark at the club? Or should he cash in, move on and bring in a top quality replacement?
It’s a big if, but IF PSG offer the price mentioned this summer, Liverpool have no choice but to bring the money in and move on from the Sturridge era.
