By adding Werner to next season’s team, it could create competition for spots on the pitch among Liverpool’s players. And that is not a bad thing. Various options exist for Werner’s placement in the Liverpool squad. Klopp could decide to drop Firmino slightly deeper on a number 10 role and have Werner leading the line as number 9.
