Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has tipped Virgil van Dijk to win the Ballon d’Or thanks to his superb performances for the Reds.
The Rangers boss revealed that the defender’s consistently superb performances mean he should be a shoo-in for the award.

Van Dijk has been tipped with many awards thanks to his exploits with the Reds, with the Dutchman establishing himself as one of the world’s best defenders.
His main rivals are likely to be Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
