Jurgen Klopp insists that Daniel Sturridge has a future at the club, despite there being some doubt about him remaining at Anfield.
Sturridge has made appearances in all of Liverpool’s pre season friendlies so far, and appeared as the Reds drew 0-0 with Bury at Gigg Lane.
Speaking after the draw, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said, via the Mirror:
It’s funny, this is my third pre-season and every year we talk about the same things!
It’s no problem. I always said there is a future, it’s about what we do in the moment.

At the moment it’s all good and we don’t have to make decisions. I don’t think about my players like this – like, maybe he’s in or out.
With the young ones we make these decisions but not with the other guys. They show up, and it should be easy for me in the end.
Sturridge spent some time last season at West Brom but spent the majority of his time in the West Midlands injured and was helpless as Albion were relegated to the Championship.
The former England international had been linked with a move to Fenerbahce and Sevilla, but no move materialised in January.
