Celebrations have been ongoing ever since the final whistle confirmed Liverpool’s sixth Champions League triumph on Saturday night.
The Reds took on Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Madrid and came away with a 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Mohamed Salah inside the first two minutes and Divock Origi late on.
Jurgen Klopp won his first trophy as Liverpool boss, and the party has not stopped, two days on.
The first-team squad took to the streets of Merseyside on Sunday to bask in their glory, as an open-top bus parade was met by approximately 750,000 adoring Reds fans, who greeted their heroes and the European trophy with pride.
Liverpool’s players were evidently proud, too, of their accomplishment. They voiced their happiness and gratitude via social media in the aftermath of the victory.
