Amidst the quality of attacking talent available to Jurgen Klopp at the moment, it is easy to overlook the performances of Scottish full-back Andy Robertson.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed an incredible rise to the top of European football, having played for an amateur Scottish outfit only five years ago.
Last night, Robertson put in a formidable performance as the Reds lost on the night but secured their place in the Champions League final in Kiev.
Full of energy, relentless down the left and real composure and ability on the ball, Robertson looked more than comfortable at the top table of the European game.
Amazingly, the Scot wasn’t even a first-team regular earlier this season, as he had to force his way past Alberto Moreno into Klopp’s plans after joining the club for an initial fee of £8m.
