Even in a season where they are seeing their own side set a record-setting pace at the top of the Premier League table, it seems like plenty of Liverpool fans are still all too keen to have a laugh at the expense of their local rivals.
Everton were 2-0 up against Newcastle at Goodson Park on Tuesday night as the game went into injury time, but the Magpies scored twice, in the 94th and 95th minutes, with Florian Lejeune scoring both goals to earn Steve Bruce’s side a point.
The result was Everton’s second consecutive league draw after they drew 1-1 with West Ham at the weekend, and whilst the result won’t have any impact on Liverpool’s place in the Premier League table, these Reds fans all took to Twitter to poke fun at their local rivals for letting two points slip from their grasp thanks to two very, very late goals.
