Liverpool produced one of the displays of the season last month as they beat reigning champions Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield.
The game started in the best possible way for Liverpool as Fabinho picked the ball up 25-yards from goal and thundered a strike into the top corner.
His goal has now been officially nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month award.

Picking a goal of the month is always going to be a subjective call – beauty is int he eye of the beholder – but Fabinho’s strike was certainly special. Kevin De Bruyne’s sensational volley against Newcastle at the end of the month for Manchester City is sure to run it close, though.
Fabinho has been exceptional this season and losing him through injury is a huge blow for Liverpool, and him personally. Jurgen Klopp will surely be hoping to have him back as soon as possible.
