Thiago is expected to be fit for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with West Ham this weekend, according to This Is Anfield.
The Reds host the Hammers on Saturday night, but have Midtjylland to contend with first, taking on the Danish side in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Thiago is out of that game, along with Joel Matip and Naby Keita, but it is believed that the Spaniard is now close to a return.
It is claimed that Liverpool sources say his absence have been more precautionary than anything, after being on the receiving end of a bad tackle by Richarlison.
He hasn’t been risked since then, but it looks as though a start could come his way on Saturday.

The return of Thiago will be a huge boost for the Reds, with the 29-year-old looking fantastic in his two appearances to date.
He possesses the guile and ability to dictate a game that the other Liverpool midfielders lack, as he showed for so long at Bayern Munich.
Thiago being available will also mean Klopp can shuffle his midfield pack, ensuring certain individuals aren’t overplayed during this busy period.
With Fabinho predominantly playing at centre-back for the time being, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum has featured heavily without Thiago and Keita around.
