Virgil van Dijk has been taken off injured in Liverpool’s fixture against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The defender was taken off after suffering a suspected rib or abdomen injury, with Joe Gomez replacing the defender.
The severity of the defender’s injury is not yet known, but it did not look that serious so the Dutchman should not miss that much time.
