If Liverpool are to end their 29-year title drought, they won’t be doing it the easy way that’s for sure!
After late winners were needed in their last two games, against Fulham and Spurs respectfully, the Reds took part in another nail bitter, a 3-1 against Southampton.
Shane Long opened the scoring for the home side inside 10 minutes as the Saints had the title hopefuls in some serious trouble before Naby Keita tied it up just before the half with his first goal for the club.
Liverpool continued to struggle after the break but the introduction of James Milner and Jordan Henderson turned the tide in their favour.
This lead to Mohamed Salah scoring a wonderful counterattack goal to end his nine-game dry spell before Henderson sealed the deal six minutes later.
