Naby Keita opened the scoring with his second in two games before Roberto Firmino doubled the Reds lead with a tap in after some wonder passing by Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Porto and in particular Moussa Marega has a few changes to pull one back but Liverpool held in and keep a clean sheet.
