Yesterday saw Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum turn back the clock with his recent Instagram post, reminiscing his debut for Dutch club Feyenoord 14-years-ago at the tender age of 16.
The now 30-year-old has had a glittering career so far and has enjoyed the best spell of it with the Reds over the last five seasons.
It is strange to think that 14-years-ago Wijnaldum first took to the field in the professional game and has gone on to win some of the most prestigious honours in world football since.
The past few seasons have seen Wijnaldum win the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool, enjoying arguably the best years of his career with the Reds.
The photo is a real classic, too, with Wijnaldum sporting his signature hairdo from his time in his native Netherlands whilst wearing one of THE best Feyenoord kits I have ever seen.

Kappa has a history of some great kits and this Feyenoord strip has to be up there, with a real nod to the AS Monaco kits we see today.
As Wijnaldum aludes in the post, he became Feyenoord’s youngest ever player that day and even today continues to make his impact on world football – with him enjoyign a great career in both the Netherland’s and in England.
Recent rumours over his future have dominated the media this season with him likely to leave the club at the end of the campaign after failing to agree on a contract with the Reds.
Whatever the future holds for Wijnaldum, it is great to see a glimpse of these moments from his career, with Liverpool lucky to have had such a talented player at their disposal.
The hair may have gone, but the talent and quality that Wijnaldum possesses have only grown and he has been a loyal servant under Jurgen Klopp – and I think most fans would agree that the club should do whatever they can to keep hold of him.
