Reports last week claimed that Liverpool are considering the possibility of making a blockbuster bid to sign Paris Saint Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.
Despite his young age, the 21-year-old star is already one of the best football players on the planet, hence why he joined PSG in the second-most expensive transfer of all time.
In his young career so far, Mbappe has already won three Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue, not to mention the World Cup, so it’s no surprise to see clubs interested in him and those who want to predict if he’ll win more trophies this season could use the Bwin mobile app to make their selections.
It seems highly possible that Liverpool would be interested in Mbappe, most teams in the world are probably interested in him, but there are obviously three major barriers to this signing becoming a reality.
Firstly, the player will need to want to join Liverpool, which is plausible given the Reds’ standing in world football. Secondly, PSG would need to be willing to sell him, which seems unlikely and finally, the Reds would need to be willing to spend a huge fee to get him and in these strange times, not many businesses will be willing to make such huge financial outlays.
