Jurgen Klopp has added seven new players to his squad ahead of his first full season in charge, but how will they fare?
Klopp has brought in Loris Karius from Mainz to compete with Simon Mignolet for the number one spot, with veteran Alex Manninger signed to provide cover.
The defence has been strengthened by the arrivals of Joel Matip from Schalke and Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg, although the Reds remain in the market for a left-back.
The headline arrivals, however, have come in the midfield, with Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum signed for big bucks, whilst Serbian starlet Marko Grujic has joined up with the squad after being snapped up in January.
Understandably, Liverpool’s transfer activity has been the subject of much scrutiny as Klopp models his squad, but have his additions been good enough to propel the Reds into top four, or even title contention?
It’s been an impressive pre-season for the new signings, but the pressure of adorning Liverpool red cannot be underestimated.
