Brendan Rodgers has named a strong squad for the penultimate pre-season match on Saturday.

A decision is yet to be made on the involvement of Firmino and Benteke.

Tom Bogert believes Liverpool have all the tools to launch an assault on the top four this season.

There are one or two dilemmas in terms of personnel and systems, but the squad is encouragingly strong.

Jordon Ibe will grasp the opportunity that has come has way now that Raheem Sterling is gone, according to Steven Gerrard.

The young winger impressed during the back end of 2014-15 after being recalled from his loan at Derby County.

New Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is happy to play anywhere, as long as he gets on the pitch.

The teenager has impressed at full-back on the pre-season tour, despite being widely considered as a centre-back.

With Liverpool getting their business done early this summer, the team for 2015/16 is already beginning to take shape.

There are viable options throughout the squad, and this strengthen’s the manager’s position, writes Tom Bogert.

Raheem Sterling isn’t the complete product, according to Phil Thompson.

But the former Liverpool defender admitted that the Reds have become “a bit of a selling club”.

On the day that Jordan Henderson is made Liverpool captain, Tom Bogert looks back on the time he was almost sold.

Talk was Liverpool were trying to use Henderson in a deal to sign Clint Dempsey.

It has been announced that two Liverpool youngsters have gone out on loan.

Jordan Williams has joined Swindon, while Lloyd Jones has joined Blackpool.

Liverpool have completed their ninth signing of the summer.

Teenager Elijah Dixon-Bonner joins from Arsenal.

Raheem Sterling’s financial rewards if he moves to Manchester City are even greater than was first thought.

The youngster could earn £4m in agent’s fees if he makes the switch to Eastlands.
