Reds youngsters go out on loan

Liverpool have confirmed that Lloyd Jones and Jordan Williams have been sent on loan in search of regular first team football.

Both youngsters are headed to League One as Jones joins recently relegated Blackpool with Williams going to Swindon Town.

Jones has represented England at the youth levels and had loan spells with Cheltenham Town and Accrington Stanley with the 19-year-old making 17 appearances between the League Two duo.

He made the substitutes bench one solitary instance in 2013 against Fulham. He didn’t enter the game.

Williams made his first team debut last term against Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup, coming on in the 78th minute and scoring his spot kick in the penalty shootout, contributing to the win.

Later that season the 19-year-old made a loan switch to Notts County at the end of March, making eight appearances.

Liverpool hope to see the pair progress and gain invaluable professional experience and take one step closer to featuring for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
