Liverpool will have to cough up over €50 million if they want to sign Cagliari midfielder Niccolo Barella, according to reports in Italy.
The midfielder has impressed many teams throughout Europe, and looks to be on his way out of the Sardinian side.
According to La Nuova Sardegna, Liverpool are monitoring the player, alongside interest from AC Milan and Inter.

However, any deal for the Italian youngster would not be cheap, with Cagliari demanding no less than €50 million according to the report.
Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini has stated that any side would have to pay up for the midfielder, meaning that the Reds would have to pay a large sum to sign Barella.
The Italian made his first appearances for Italy last week, appearing in Italy’s friendly with Ukraine in Genoa.
The midfielder has impressed many in his home country, but Liverpool could tempt the midfielder to swap Sardinia for Merseyside.
