Inter to hijack Juventus’ approach for Emre Can

Inter Milan could swoop in in the January transfer window and try and persuade Emre Can to join them at the San Siro, as per Football Italia.

It is well reported that Can is out of contract at Anfield in the summer, as he wishes to have a release clause in his contract, which Jurgen Klopp is reluctant on putting in.

This means that the German international will be allowed to talk to clubs over a potential free move in the summer within the next few weeks, as soon as the January transfer window opens.

It is also well reported that Juventus have been strongly linked with him, and will try to get him on a free transfer. However, it looks like another Italian giant may come in to give the Old Lady some competition.

Inter Milan are now reportedly interested in the 23-year-old and will talk to Can and his agent at the turn of the year.

However, he may see his sights elsewhere, with Manchester City and Pep Guardiola also looking fondly at Can, just 40 miles down the M62.

There are still over three weeks to go until the window opens and Can is allowed to hold talks with other clubs, so maybe other clubs will become interested in him. Or maybe Klopp will give him what he wants in his contract to keep him in Merseyside.
