Jack Dunn scores again in Morecambe win

Liverpool loanee Jack Dunn scored his fourth goal of the season as Morecambe beat Blackpool 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

After a hat-trick against Rotherham United in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, the 21-year-old was amongst the goals again today, netting from the penalty spot as The Shrimpers overcame Gary Bowyer’s recently-relegated team.

The win takes Morecambe up to 15th in League Two after a 2-0 loss to Grimsby Town in their opening game of the season.

Elsewhere, Ryan Kent played the full 90 minutes as Barnsley beat promotion contenders Derby County 2-0 in The Championship.

In the same division, Adam Bogdan kept a clean sheet as Wigan Athletic won 3-0 against Blackburn Rovers, whilst Danny Ward was in goal as Huddersfield Town earned a shock 2-1 win at Newcastle United.

Fellow goalkeeper Ryan Fulton was also on the winning side as Chesterfield beat Swindon Town 3-1 in League One.
