According to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool side will face his former club, Borussia Dortmund, in the first game of the International Champions Cup.
The International Champions Cup is the biggest pre-season tournament in football, where Europe’s biggest side travel to the United States to battle it out before their seasons get underway.
Liverpool are set to face Dortmund on July 22nd at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina, which holds 75,000 fans and with Liverpool and Dortmund fans being very passionate, the atmosphere could be rocking.
Manchester City and Manchester United are also set to play at the International Champions Cup with The Reds being set to face both City and United.
They are set to play City, who they beat three times from four games against each-other this season, on July 25th at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which holds 82,000.
Three days later, they play United in Ann Arbor which is known as “The Big House” and it holds 107,000, which was sold out when United played Real Madrid in 2012.
