According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are set to make an £18.5 million move for Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie as they look to fend off competition from Juventus.
The Ivorian midfielder is sure to be high in demand this January and potentially in the summer, with the youngster putting in some stellar displays for his club in Serie A.
Possessing a lot of technical ability and power, Kessie has established himself as one of the best upcoming talents in Europe at the moment and it’s clear to see that big things beckon for the midfield man.
Liverpool are claimed to have sent scouts to watch over Kessie’s recent performances and it’s clear to see that they liked what they saw, with the reports of them lining up a hefty bid for the 19-year-old.
Juventus will also look to make their move for the young midfielder, but it’s no surprise to see the magnitude of interest in Kessie given his quality.
