Liverpool are lining up a £20m January move for in-form Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to Glasgow Live.
The Reds have lost Danny Ings to another season-ending knee injury and are without Philippe Coutinho until the New Year and will watch Sadio Mane depart to the Africa Cup of Nations in January, leaving them short of attacking options for the time being.
Daniel Sturridge has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield as well which may prompt Jurgen Klopp to dip into the transfer market for a new forward with Dembele one of his top targets.

It’s believed Liverpool will offer £10m up front for the French U21 international striker, with a number of clauses and add-ons based on performance and success in his Liverpool career which could see the deal total £20m.
Klopp has had his scouts watch the 20-year-old on five occasions this season and more often than not would’ve seen him score; Dembele has found the net 17 times in 27 appearances so far this season following his £500,000 move from Fulham in the summer.
Liverpool would also be willing to quadruple his wages to £60,000-a-week to make the move south of the border, but Dembele turned down lucrative offers from Arsenal and Liverpool to play regular football for Celtic.
