Liverpool join Chelsea and Everton in chase for Genk’s Bailey

Liverpool have joined Everton, Chelsea and Bournemouth by expressing an interest in signing Genk winger, Leon Bailey, as per the Daily Mail.

The winger has impressed during Genk’s Europa League campaign and is also thought to be a target for Bayer Leverkusen and Roma.

Bailey, a speedy right-winger, has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, is highly-rated in Belgium and was expected to move on at the end of the season, but clubs will now reportedly hurry their bids in order to beat off their competition.

The aforementioned Roma and Leverkusen are thought to be preparing bids within the region of £20 million for the 19-year-old.

Any proposed deal may see the Belgian remain with Genk on loan until the end of the season, with the Belgian Pro League side desperate to keep their hands on the player until then. Bailey has scored four goals in six appearances in the Europa League this season.
