Liverpool have been put on red alert as Inter Milan are prepared to let go of midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia in the January transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
The five-time France international arrived at the San Siro in the summer of 2015 for £30m from AS Monaco and has failed to live up to the price tag thus far which has prompted the powers at be to consider offloading him.
Jurgen Klopp is believed to have been alerted by his Kondogbia’s situation and wants to add some strength and physicality to his midfield, eyeing up the former Lens and Sevilla midfielder as an ideal signing.

Eager to offload the 23-year-old, Inter Milan are willing to send the midfielder out on loan until the end of the season in January with an option to make the move permanent for €22m.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Kondogbia in the past who will certainly be in demand come January.
