Kylian Mbappe arguably remains the biggest transfer domino yet to fall over this summer.
The Monaco star is being linked with a world-record move to Real Madrid in a deal which could trigger a number of potential transfers for Europe’s top clubs – and Liverpool are ready to take advantage.
Liverpool believe that they could land Karim Benzema from Real Madrid if Mbappe arrives at the Bernabeu, claims the Mirror, but Arsenal are also interested in the player.

Benzema is likely to lose his place in the Madrid starting line-up if his fellow Frenchman Mbappe is brought in, which could prompt him to assess his options and seek a move away.
While Liverpool have some dynamic and effective wingers in the squad, the true centre-forwards they have at their disposal are still inconsistent and are probably rank below their fellow strikers who ply their trade with the rest of the Premier League’s elite.
Jurgen Klopp is focussing on deals for Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita for the time being, he said to be interested in a move for Benzema, who scored 19 goals last season, if he becomes available.
