Attacking midfielder Cameron Brannagan has pledged his future to Liverpool, despite a recent approach from Wigan Athletic, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 20-year-old from Manchester had been on the fringes of the Liverpool side until former manager Brendan Rodgers gave the youngster his debut in a 1-1 draw against Bordeaux in the Europa League.

Brannagan would go on to make nine first team appearances, and the academy product now looks poised to establish himself in the 2016/17 season.
Wigan had offered in excess of £1million for his services, but boss Jürgen Klopp has told the Lancashire club that Brannagan is going nowhere.

This can be interpreted as a signal of intent from Klopp.
With other prospects Jordan Rossiter (Rangers) and Joao Teixeira (Porto) being allowed to move on, it stands to reason that the German has big plans for Cameron Brannagan in this upcoming season.
