Liverpool target former Real Madrid keeper

Liverpool are thought to be considering a move for former Real Madrid goalkeeper, Antonio Adan.

As reported by the Express, who quote Spanish outlet Marca, Adan is thought to be a target for Liverpool.

The Spaniard reportedly has a £6.8 million release clause in his current deal with La Liga side, Real Betis.

Marseille are also thought to be interested in signing the keeper who left Real Madrid in 2013.

He has since made 118 appearances for Betis and has impressed following regular playing time in La Liga.

The goalkeeper position is one that has been a troubled one for Liverpool this season, with Jurgen Klopp rotating between both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, who joined the club in the summer.

The former Real Madrid shot-stopper is currently uncapped by Spain, but he may see a move to Liverpool as a chance to put himself in line to catch the attention of the Spanish national team.
