When Andre Wisdom burst onto the scene in the 2012/13 season, many at Liverpool thought that they had a future starter at right-back on their hands.
Wisdom made 19 appearances in his breakthrough season at Anfield but game time was limited the following campaign and he was sent on loan to Derby and he’s become a bit of an afterthought.
Over the last three seasons, Wisdom has spent season-long loan spells with West Brom, Norwich and RB Salzburg where he’s currently at and Liverpool are ready to cut ties with the former England youth international defender.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp will seek offers of around £4m to part ways with the 23-year-old who has made 20 appearances for Salzburg this season as they close in on the Austrian Bundesliga title.
Salzburg are aware of how much it would cost to keep Wisdom but the right-back is keen on a return to English football and a number of clubs are keeping tabs on his situation with former loan club Derby leading the chase.
