Liverpool have been linked with a summer move for Atletico Madrid attacker Angel Correa this summer but they face some fresh competition from a fellow Premier League side.
According to the Newcastle Chronicle, former Reds boss Rafa Benitez is eager to bring Correa to Newcastle this summer, rivaling Liverpool for his signature.
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at San Lorenzo in Argentina before completing a £6.4m move to Atletico Madrid in December 2014 where he has developed into a first-team regular.

Spanish source AS report that Liverpool are to offer £25m for the forward this summer and have put forward a five-year contract worth £46,000-a-week to persuade him to make the move to Anfield.
Correa is down in the pecking order at Atletico Madrid but any deal to sign him has been made unlikely due to the La Liga’s side’s transfer ban.
Liverpool don’t need another forward this summer but Correa’s versatility could make him an attractive option.
