Liverpool travel to Old Trafford on Thursday evening for their Europa League clash with Manchester United with a 2-0 aggregate advantage after a wonderful display in the first leg at Anfield, but despite knowing they are in the box-seat, they’ll understand that the tie is far from over.
Jurgen Klopp doesn’t have any new injury concerns to worry about and James Milner is back after missing the last game with illness, so he will have a lot of options to choose from as he decides on his starting eleven and his tactics for the game.
Klopp might look to tighten things up slightly, although there will be a temptation to go all out and look to get an early goal that will leave United needing to score four to progress to the quarter-finals.
Ahead of the big game, I’ve predicted the starting line-up that I think the manager will select to try and heap more misery on Louis van Gaal’s side.
