Having already secured qualification from the group stages, Liverpool travel to Switzerland to face FC Sion knowing that a point will be enough to see them finish top of Group B.
The hosts are in a strange position as they can still finish first, second or third in the group, depending on results.
If they beat Liverpool, they’ll top the group, if they draw, they guarantee a second-placed finish with a draw or if FC Rubin don’t defeat Bordeaux. However if Sion lose and FC Rubin win, the Russian side will go through to the knockout stages.
So, faced with an opponent desperate to win and knowing that a point is needed to secure first place, and therefore a supposed easier draw in the knockout phase, what eleven will Jurgen Klopp pick to face the Swiss side?
