Liverpool host West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Sunday. The game comes just three days after the Reds travelled to Switzerland for the goalless draw with FC Sion.
Jurgen Klopp fielded a strong side in Sion and there were players such as Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Emre Can and Divock Origi, who all completed 90 minutes. Roberto Firmino played the majority of the game, also. However, Christian Benteke didn’t take any part despite being named on the substitutes bench.
Liverpool sit eighth in the table and could fall further down by the time they kick off on Sunday due to the Saturday fixtures. The visitors, West Brom, sit below the Reds down in 13th-place.
It will be interesting to see how many of the players who played in the draw on Thursday evening start the game at Anfield.
