Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool: Player Ratings

Liverpool came from behind to beat Crystal Palace on Saturday to move another step closer towards Champions League qualification, as well as denting their opponents’ survival hopes.

It didn’t start well for the Reds – just 12 minutes had been played when Loris Karius recklessly hauled down Palace winger Wilfried Zaha which resulted in a penalty for the home side. Luka Milivojevic slotted home the resultant penalty.

Liverpool winger Sadio Mane was then was booked for simulation, as the visitors’ frustration began to subside.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s side came rushing out of the blocks in the second half and drew level when James Milner’s cross was turned in by Mane. From that point on though, it was the Eagles who took control of the contest – with the visitors beginning to lose their momentum on the game.

But the boisterous Selhurst Park was silenced late on after Andy Robertson’s cross found Mohamed Salah in the box, and the Egyptian rifled home past Wayne Hennessey to put Liverpool ahead for the first time in the contest.

The Reds held on for a vital win, which takes them 10 points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea. How did the players fare? Here are our ratings.
