Liverpool took a giant step toward Champions League qualification with a 4-0 demolition of West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
On his return to the first XI, Daniel Sturridge repaid Jurgen Klopp’s faith by coolly rounding Adrian following Philippe Coutinho’s defence-splitting pass to open the scoring on 30 minutes.
Coutinho himself then doubled the Reds lead with a superbly-taken goal from the edge of the box before smashing home a third following a lightning counter attack.
Divock Origi rounded off the scoring with fifteen minutes remaining, turning home as the Hammers’ defence crumbled.
The result means the Reds need only beat Middlesbrough at Anfield on the final day to secure a top-four finish.
