Liverpool have been told by Bayer Leverkusen that target Julian Brandt will cost at least £52.5m if they want to attain the services of the German this summer.
The winger had signed a new contract extension in January with many of Europe’s top clubs enquiring about the 22-year-old.
However, it seems this was only a temporary decoy with Calcio Insider reporting that the Bundesliga outfit have now priced Brandt at what they feel is a suitable fee.

The German international was being considered as an alternative if the Reds could not have persuaded Roma to part with Mohamed Salah last summer. He netted 12 times and assisted three more during the 2017/18 season.
Brandt has represented his country on 14 occasions, scoring once, and has been picked in Joachim Low’s 23-man squad that will travel to Russia next month.
Typically, Brandt plays as a right winger but can also play in a front three – perfect for the system Jurgen Klopp has embedded this campaign.
