Liverpool look set to face competition from AC Milan should they pursue a move for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir this summer.
The Frenchman’s future with the Ligue 1 side has come under intense scrutiny with the midfielder’s contract set to expire next summer, and Liverpool have long been linked with a move for the 25-year-old.
However, according to Get French Football News, Milan look set to rival the Reds for the midfielder with the Serie A giants having made an approach to Lyon over the availability of Fekir this summer.
Given the midfielder’s current contract situation, Lyon are believed to have lowered their valuation from last summer, when the Ligue 1 side set a €70million price tag on the France international.
This time around however, Lyon are now looking for a fee in the region of €35million to €40million.
Fekir could yet remain with the Ligue 1 side this summer, though, with Lyon looking to tie the Frenchman down to a new five-year deal.
