Adam Lallana is a doubt for Liverpool’s weekend clash with Watford after missing training on Wednesday.
The England international’s season has been plagued by injuries and it looks like he might have had another set-back, just as he was making his way back to full fitness.
Lallana started the game against FC Porto last week and came off the bench during the weekend’s defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford and whilst not looking at his best, he was starting to find some rhythm to his play.
However, that could all be halted if his latest set-back is a significant one, although there is no word as to why he missed the session at this time.
The Reds face Watford on Saturday evening, hoping to bounce back after the loss to United. With Liverpool’s closest rivals not playing a league game, they have a chance to put some pressure on those around them by earning a valuable three points.
