Adam Lallana officially set to leave Liverpool this summer

We’ve all seemingly known for a while that Adam Lallana would be leaving Liverpool Football Club this summer but now it has been made official.

The ex-England international midfielder recently agreed a short-term extension to keep him at Anfield until the end of the current campaign, but the recent publication of every Premier League club’s retained list shows that Liverpool will not be keeping Lallana next year.

The 32-year-old arrived at Liverpool in 2014 and six years later, he’ll leave the club as a Premier League and Champions League winner.

Lallana’s Liverpool career has had its ups and downs, especially when it came to fitness issues as he was often nursing injuries, or recovering from them, but it’s great that he’s managed to stay fit for pretty much the whole 2019/20 season as the Reds have finally won the Premier League.

He’s played 15 league games so far in the campaign, scoring one goal – that coming at Old Trafford – and wherever he chooses to go next, Lallana will go with the best wishes of the Reds’ faithful
