The Brazilian wore the number 13 shirt as Liverpool defeated Napoli 5-0 in Dublin at the weekend, but it was made clear before the game that the number was only a temporary one and it seems as though the new Reds’ shot-stopper will take the number one jersey from Loris Karius.

Quite what this means for Karius’ future remains to be seen, although it is logical for Alisson to have the number one shirt as he will be the club’s first-choice goalkeeper for the foreseeable future.
After signing from AS Roma for a world record fee, the 25-year-old will likely make his first appearance at Anfield as a Liverpool player when the Reds face Torino in their final pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
The last time Alisson played at Anfield, his side emerged victorious as Brazil defeated Croatia 2-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly.
