Assaidi set to secure move

After two loan spells at Stoke, Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi looks set to leave Liverpool on a permanent basis according to the Telegraph.

The 26-year-old is the subject of a £4.75m bid from Saudi Arabian side Al Alhi.

Assaidi, bought for £2.4m from Heerenveen in 2012, has played less than 500 Premier League minutes for the Reds.

The winger has scored 4 goals in 28 appearances during the 18 months he has spent at Stoke, and now looks set to leave the Premier League for the Saudi outfit in a deal which will see Liverpool almost doubtle their money on a player who has made little contribution since signing.

It’s thought Assaidi has been recalled back to Merseyside to seal his switch away from Anfield.
