Brighton & Hove Albion have taken to social media to share the letter that they’ve sent to a young Leeds United fan who ‘bid’ for Ben White, the player who was recently linked with a move to Liverpool.
White has been on loan at Leeds this season and has performed well as the Yorkshire-based side climbed to the top of the Championship table, before the recent suspension of football.
The 22-year-old has played so well that he’s apparently caught the eye of Liverpool and his performances have certainly been good enough to impress five-year-old Daniel.
The young Leeds fan wrote to Brighton to ask them to sell White to Leeds, and he even offered £15.07 of his pocket money in order to try to twist the arm of the south coast club.
Brighton’s response was classy, but did give a tiny bit of a hint about White’s future as they said he is an important part of their plans.
It’s great to see a youngster so in love with his football club that he wrote this letter and Brighton deserve a lot of credit for their reply.
