Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has named his squad for the upcoming friendly against HJK Helsinki.
Philippe Coutinho will make his first pre-season appearance for the senior team on Saturday and will join the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Joe Gomez, Nathaniel Clyne and Divock Origi.
According to Kristian Walsh of the Liverpool Echo, a decision is yet to be made about whether new signings Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke will join their new teammates for the trip to Finland’s Olympic Stadium.
This is Liverpool’s first match since returning from their tour of Australia and the Far East and their fifth match of the pre-season.
Brazilian midfielder Coutinho was not on the tour but is fresh from featuring for the Under-21s for 45 minutes earlier this week with Emre Can.
Liverpool take on Swindon Town the day after the Helsinki match and it remains to be seen how Rodgers will manage his squad for the two matches.
Swindon will be the Reds’ final opponents before travelling to Stoke the following Sunday for the opening match of the Premier League season.
