Kerem Demirbay has spoken out regarding supposed interest from Liverpool.
The Hoffenheim midfielder believes the Reds are monitoring him, with whispers of a January move circulating.
When quizzed by Sky Sport in Germany regarding reports linking him to Liverpool, Demirbay said:
Of course, I can handle that,
The 25-year-old missed the start of the Bundesliga season with an ankle injury, but has appeared seven times in all competitions for Julian Nagelsmann’s impressive outfit since returning to the lineup.

Jürgen Klopp moved to replace the outgoing Emre Can early in the summer transfer window, signing Fabinho from AS Monaco. A slow start at Anfield for the Brazilian, but recent matches have seen an enhanced role for the new arrival.
Demirbay appears to be not entirely dissimilar to Fabinho on the pitch, as further comments in the interview seem to suggest.
The German international said:
I feel very, very well (as a) No.6.
That’s where I can set the pace for my team.
It is as yet unknown whether Reds chiefs will pour money into the squad come January, and Klopp’s own analysis of his team is sure to factor highly in the decision.
