Eugenio Corini urges Tonali to finish development at Brescia amid Liverpool interest

Brescia boss Eugenio Corini has urged highly rated midfielder Sandro Tonali to stay with the newly promoted Serie A side next season amid interest from Liverpool.

The Reds are reportedly interested in a move for the 19-year-old and look set to rival the likes of Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli, Inter Milan and Roma for the midfielder signature.

However, according to Inside Futbol via Sky Italia, Corini believes Tonali would be better suited to continue his development with Brescia in Serie A next season, but understands why the likes of Liverpool are interested.

For Sandro, it was a very important season because he always played. He was at the centre of a team that won the league. He experienced strong emotions and he knew how to tame them.

I hope I can have him available, he must finish the process of development, but I understand the clubs who are following him. But he still lacks a year in Serie A where he can play regularly.

Tonali was a key figure for Brescia during their Serie B winning campaign last season, and is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Italian football.

The midfielder featured 34 times in the league, scoring three goals and creating seven assists from defensive midfield.
