Liverpool face Lincoln City tonight in the Carabao Cup and whilst plenty of observers expected Jurgen Klopp to name a weakened line-up, the German may choose to play a strong defensive pairing.
With Joel Matip and Joe Gomez both ruled out of the game due to injury, it was expected that Klopp would select youngsters like Sepp van den Berg and Rhys Williams at centre-back but that may not be the case.
Liverpool arrived at a hotel in Lincoln today and both Fabinho and Virgil van Dijk were part of the travelling squad.

At this time, there’s no word if the duo will start the game or simply be sat on the bench in case of an injury, but the fact that they’ve even travelled in the first place could come as a surprise to some considering that they are both expected to be part of the Reds team that faces Arsenal on Monday night.
