Roberto Firmino wants to end his debut Champions League season with an emotional ending against Real Madrid in next weekend’s final, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The Brazilian has 10 goals in the competition, level with teammate Mohamed Salah and behind only Cristiano Ronaldo.
He has proven that he belongs on Europe’s biggest stage, seven assists have put him second in that list too, although he thinks he could have achieved more:
Am I happy with having scored 10 goals since the start of the group stage? Very, very. Although I am a little bit annoyed, because I always want more and I am never satisfied.

The Reds have set the Champions League alight with their attacking this year. They have scored 40 goals, a competition record, and have blown sides away.
This was most evident in the semi-final against Roma where they claimed an astonishing 5-2 victory over the Italian side in the first leg, which ultimately led them to the final. And Firmino thinks it will be the best moment of his career should they win in the Stadio Olimpico:
Winning the Champions League would be a unique moment. It’s a very special trophy. If we’re fortunate enough to be able to win it, it will be a very emotional moment for me and the whole team.
