Ahead of the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has teased a possible future approach for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp has now reached two consecutive Champions League finals with the Reds.
The news is just what the Reds would not want to be hearing with him changing clubs, with the German making Liverpool one of the best sides in Europe with his silky and attacking style of play.
Speaking to the Spanish media, cited by the Evening Standard, Perez heaped praise on both Klopp and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Klopp and Pochettino are phenomenal.
I’ve never tried to sign them, but that doesn’t mean we won’t try to in the future.
Although Klopp has been linked with the job, he has not doubted his future at Liverpool.
However, Pochettino has questioned his future at Spurs with him saying he may leave whether they win or not.
Although Klopp has never won a major trophy with the Reds, there is no doubt he hasn’t changed the side making them serious title contenders.
