Liverpool took to Melwood on Friday for a training session ahead of the Premier League curtain raiser.
Brendan Rodgers took the session with his backroom staff.

Brendan Rodgers had his pre-Stoke press conference after this session – his first of the new season proper.
He was naturally upbeat and described the upcoming game as the ‘perfect’ fixture.
