Forward Woodburn has had a tough time of it this season. He initially went on a season-long-loan to Sheffield United, but he couldn’t break into the first-team and he returned to Liverpool in January.

The Welshman is still only 19 and he has always impressed when given the chance for Liverpool. A move to Rangers could do him good as he will be able to learn from not just Gerrard, but experienced striker Jermain Defoe as well.

Jones is the youngest out of the three at just 18. He is yet to go out on loan, but he has impressed in the Reds’ youth setup this season and a loan move like this could be the making of him.

It will be a tough task for Gerrard to get all three players to the club, with others bound to be interested in them. But the Liverpool legend will feel that these three signings will boost their title hopes next year.
